Interior services encompass drapery, pillows, shades, bedding, slipcovers, and table linens. Projects can range from small bench cushions for a neighboring pianist to geometric block cushions created for the San Francisco Children's Creativity Museum's play area. More intricate projects include pattern-matching top down roman shades, for which Liz also crafts the hardware, to designing and constructing a cover for a twelve by fifteen foot tall metal structure which was used by Four Barrel Coffee and The Mill coffee shop.

Clients say...

"I first discovered Liz when she was working out of a space in Noe Valley when I needed new cushion covers for my 1950's daybed; Liz suggested where I might find a well priced assortment of fabrics and then set about sewing new covers for the seat cushion and bolsters for me- everything from the piping to the well-hidden zippers were beautifully executed. This year when I wanted a slipcover for my favorite armchair she even came to my home, picked it up and delivered it back redone! Now who can beat that?"
Jennifer, Marin

"Liz just made a slipcover for my sofabed, it's fabulous. The fit is so perfect, it looks more like upholstery than a slipcover. The process was very smooth and easy. Turn around was quick. Quality is impeccable. She pays great attention to detail and her fees are very fair. She even turned me onto a great discount fabric store in SF where I found my fabric. Being a bit of a fabric junkie, I thought I knew them all but this one was a real gem. I won't hesitate to hire Liz for my next project"
Suzanne, Alameda

"Liz is amazing! She made slipcovers for a pair of chairs and they look fabulous. The fit is perfect and make the chairs look reupholstered. The finish and attention to detail is impeccable. Her pricing is reasonable given the quality of the end product. I have also used Liz for simple window treatments and they also turned out perfectly. Liz does a great job setting a timeline at the beginning of each project and makes sure to finish by the pre-determined delivery date. I highly recommend Liz"
Roxy, SF

"I love Liz- she is so flexible and creative. She made beautiful shades for my kids' rooms. She came to my house several times to measure, discuss fabrics and install the shades. You can tell she is meticulous about her work. It really shows. I wish I could have her make more shades and redo my entire house! I highly recommend working with Liz. She and her work are fabulous."
Gary, SF

"Liz can sew anything! She has a great eye, attention to detail and superb sewing skills. I am a designer and have worked with her many times, always with great success"
Alycia, Fix Redesign, SF

"Liz was wonderful to work with and did an excellent job putting together some large sofa cushions and making custom shades for my living room. Prices were competitive to Nobel and Smith but with better customer service. I would absolutely use her again."
Monika, SF

Local Craft

Local Craft is a hub for craftspeople and artisans who offer speciality work. More work is generated and flows when many share information. Milliners, cobblers, welders, upholsterers, potters, leather-smiths, cabinetmakers, glass artists, quilters, embroiderers, jewelers, knitters, rug makers... There are so many people that make things without the knowledge of others, without a storefront. Everyone needs a window and I have an affordable one that many peer into looking for answers.

As a part of the network, I'd first like to contract local craftspeople to offer workshops. They would teach one craft per quarter, I would offer pay in exchange for teaching a six week session (one to two days per week) for a novice to learn a about a trade. A sabbatical, so to speak, for the self-employed.
